The occupants of this house were particularly interested in the stylish Charrell collection and were immediately won over by Charrell’s proposed interior. They needed a quiet workspace in their large living room. We proposed the room be divided into two areas separated by a sleek black lacquered steel door with transparent glass. This was the perfect way to retain the feeling of openness. Lacquered MDF combined with oak was used for the custom work. The seating area is optimally utilised with a large corner sofa and free-standing chaise lounge. The black of the steel door is also seen in the furniture and the lighting, which provides an overall pleasant balance. The window decorations and paintwork was also carried out by Charrell.
